Risk Management, Monitoring & Evaluation Section
Purpose of the Job: Responsible for supporting risk management activities within the FSA, including assisting to integrate risk concepts into planning processes, aiding with identifying potential risks, and contributing to efforts to mitigate those risks.
Summary of Duties:
- Contribute to the establishment of a credible risk management process.
- Contribute effectively to the management of financial and non-financial risks across the FSA.
- Monitor and evaluate the FSA’s performance in the application of risk in its decision-making process and propose continuous improvements.
- Contribute to the strategic planning process, including the review and evaluation of the FSA’s Strategic Plan.
- Identify potential regulatory and non-regulatory risk through thorough and ongoing risk assessments with relevant business leads, develop and implement robust mitigation plans to minimize any adverse impact to the FSA.
- Assist in the assessment of risks to financial stability In non-bank financial services.
- Develop and maintain the risk register.
- Contribute effectively to the embedding of risks within the FSA by actively participating in targeted organisation-wide training and awareness sessions on an on-going basis;
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- Degree in economics, business administration, finance or risk management.
- Professional certifications (e.g., IRMCert).
- Experience in the use of risk quantitative techniques and experience in the analysis of business metrics and the formulation of Key Risk and Performance Indicators is a plus.
Salary:
- Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
