Housekeeper

Facilities & Logistics Section

Job Purpose:      To undertake cleaning of the establishment to ensure a comprehensive cleaning service is provided that are conducive to a healthy environment within FSA Administration block and rented properties.

Summary of Duties:

  • Sweep and clean all offices assigned.
  • Empty all office bins and dust office furniture including equipment e.g: phones, computers.
  • Mop assigned areas especially kitchen and staircase.
  • Clean utilities.
  • Wipe and dust all windows, including window borders (except in areas which cannot be reached).
  • Clean main entrance and reception glass doors twice a day.
  • Prepare tea for staff and visitors And serve tea and refreshments in meetings.
  • Make and serve tea to all staff during tea break.
  • Identify and report needed repair of assets:
  • Ensure that all utensils and office cutleries are washed before leaving for the day; and
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

  • Secondary level of education; or
  • Secondary level of education and 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar field.

Salary:

  • Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
