Information Systems Development Section
Purpose of the Job: Develop software programs and applications. Create and maintain software documentation.
Summary of Duties:
- Work alongside the Director to conceptualize software programs.
- Assist with debugging and maintenance of software.
- Undertake software engineering process.
- Undertake more complex programs under the direction of a more senior staff or supervisor.
- Develop, modify and maintain assigned programs. Monitor the operation of assigned programs and respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding by applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
- Review user requirements and needs for new software and perform analysis, design, implementation, installation and training related to new software developed and/or acquired.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Salary:
- Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
